2.  Budget:  7:17 p.m.
Extensive work, review, and revision performed on the final 2011 Library Budget.  A motion was made and seconded to accept the budget proposal as amended.  Accepted by unanimous vote.  Neal will deliver final copy to the town administrative assistant on Thursday, October 7, 2010.

3.  Workshops:  9:05 p.m.
Jami reminded Trustees of 3 upcoming meetings that may be of interest to them.  The Area Trustees Meeting for Thursday, October 14th will take place at the Peterborough Library from noon -1:30 p.m.  The topic will be technology.  Also on the same date at 6:30 p.m. there will be a local Area Trustee Gathering at the Brookline Public Library.  This is an opportunity to ask questions, share ideas, and learn.  Antioch University in Keene is hosting a Fall 2010 Speaker Series.  On Thursday, December 2nd at 7:00 p.m. the topic will be Chairing the Board:  What Does It Mean?

4.  Treasure’s Report:  9:10 p.m.
Reviewed and discussed current budget.

5.  Other Business:  9:25 p.m.
Mary Ann reported that a letter from Primex has not been received regarding the liability status for the meeting room at the library.   However, an email from our town administrative assistant will be forthcoming with the explanation she received from Primex regarding this matter.  The email will go to Gail.

Bob reported on his findings regarding the possibility of putting up a mailbox at the library in order to discontinue use of the post office box.  The Postmaster stated it would be feasible but that no dismount service would be available.  She recommended a size and location for the mailbox.  Posting the mailbox on the east side of the driveway just behind the sidewalk would allow the mail carrier to get off the road when making deliveries.  The trustees will make a decision on this matter at a future meeting.

Meeting adjourned at 9:35 p.m.
